For Chirstmas 2000 - four days before my son was born, I was given an Olympus digital camera! It was a 3mpx, little point-and-shoot and very new, cutting edge technology. Most people had never even conceived of what a digital camera is, but I was impressed! We live in California and the rest of my family lives in Ohio. We had a website dedicated to whatever we wanted to put on it. I created an area to share pictures of my son and eventually my other kids with my family. I had Andy's Room, Amelia's Corner, and Callie's Place. I’d upload pictures to a page and then email everyone to tell them to look. It was AMAZING technology! No more photo albums and paper prints laying around cluttering up space! Everything fits neatly on a hard drive and if you play your cards right, you’ll never loose them - the picture above is telling me I've played my cards right! :)
