I haven't created a blog in a minute or two, so thought I'd put something together to keep you up on what I've been doing. Headshots!!! Lots and lots of headshots! Over this past fall I had a flurry of headshot requests, mostly from high school seniors applying to college for musical theater. In addition, I also had a large studio session for South Bay Ballet Art's The Nutcracker! This was a full day of dancers coming in and out, changing costumes and then hours of cropping, adjusting, and extending backdrops.
In mid-December I decided to shut down for a few weeks because my kids would all be home for the holidays and because the week between Christmas and New Years isn't busy enough, I have two kids celebrating birthdays (on the same day) right in the middle of it all! One of them was away chasing dreams at a large audition for her day, so that just extended the event when she returned home before leaving again after New Years to continue pursuing her dreams. For my birthday boy at home, he had much to celebrate as well! After two schools and 6.5 years of college, he finished his BS and MS in Computer Science! Now he's back to SLC to find a job and apply for PhDs!
Somewhere sandwiched into my "break," I did headshot and dance pictures of my daughters and headshots for I think my longest client - I think my first headshot with him was more than 10 years ago. Here's a splathering of pictures from my December (and early January) adventures
